Today the city of Torino can offer a total of 7.023 rooms, from the modern ones like the Hotel Le Meridien Lingotto to the old and refined ones. as the Turin Palace Hotel, where important historical personalities stayed.
Even the lower categories hotels offer a high standard of quality, varying from modern structures to old and charming ones.

The Olympic Winter Games that will be held in February 2006 will remarkably improve the hotel capacity and some of this changes are already taking place.
The 4-star deluxe Hotel Le Meridien, inside the Lingotto complex, will add 140 new rooms to the already existing 240, starting from December 2002.
It represents a very comfortable solution to welcome the congress organizers and the most important guests.

In the Lingotto’s area a new Hostel for students with 250 beds is being constructed and it will open in January 2003, while there is another project to build a new 4-star hotel with 500 rooms, to be opened before 2006. Furthermore, one or two 5-star hotels will be constructed and so the total hotel capacity in Torino will increase by 1.500/2.000 rooms.
